Need a Little Lovin?

Thanksgiving is a time we give thanks and share our love with family and friends. But sometimes what we give is actually what we need to get- a little lovin.

Research shows that touch, hugging and intimacy increase levels of Oxytocin– a chemical in the brain– that creates a sense of well being, improves immunity and overall health. What’s interesting is that latest research shows that hugs have the most sustained levels of Oxytocin. Even more, than say, sex. 

So every time you get on your mat and you squeeze in your muscles you give yourself a little lovin… a little huggin.

And every time you hug someone you also get hugged and you get a little lovin.

So, this Thanksgiving, give the gift of thanks and love that gives right back – A HUG!!!
