Mind Over Chatter

Mind Over Chatter

Laurel_leg_behind_headSpinning your wheels? Getting less done than you’d hoped? Anxiety software running in the background draining your energy?

The mind is a powerful thing.  And when we have constant mind chatter filling us up with worries, deadlines, obligations, expectations and pressure, it’s actually more difficult to focus.

The chatter becomes so loud that it hijacks our nervous system, putting the body on alert and setting off a whole cascade of “fight or flight” responses like increased cravings, heart rate, tension in our muscles and elevated blood pressure. This in turn cranks up the volume of the chatter, we become more anxious, and the vicious cycle continues.

The solution? Be sure you have the skills and the mental muscle to turn off the chatter.

Unfortunately, most of us have no idea how to do this! Learn these three simple steps to doing just that when you enroll in my How to Meditate Quickie.

In it, I teach simple, easy tricks to take charge of your mind, so that you can get back to being calm, focused and productive. Doesn’t that help you breathe a sigh of relief just thinking about it?

Here’s to exercising your mental muscles!

Love and brilliance,
