Riding the Winds of Change
Riding the Winds of Change
In the yoga system, autumn is a viewed as a time of change and transition. Leaves are drying up, the wind is blowing, and Nature herself is retracting.
Since we humans are in fact a part of Nature, it’s not uncommon to feel scattered and unsettled in autumn. Add to it a busy or changing schedule and you may find yourself feeling depleted.
Ayurveda, a sister science to yoga that studies health and longevity, gives us simple tools to help nourish and ground ourselves during the fall season.
Practice
